Nahargarh Hills in the Aravalli Range
Nestled deep within the Aravalli Range, Nahargarh is one of Jaipur’s most scenic and vibrant destinations. While it may not be the easiest fort to reach, it rewards travelers with breathtaking views and unmatched natural beauty. Known as one of the best sunrise and sunset points in Jaipur, Nahargarh is a favorite escape for locals and explorers alike.
Standing over 700 feet above sea level, Nahargarh Fort offers a sweeping panoramic view of Jaipur city and the surrounding Aravalli forests. Our cycling expedition to Nahargarh takes you through dense forest trails and rugged terrain, making it a challenging yet deeply rewarding adventure.
The Cobbled Climb
This historic cobbled path was once used by elephants and horses during royal times. Today, it presents a thrilling and demanding ascent for cyclists and hikers. The climb tests your endurance, but every turn opens up stunning views of Jaipur below.
For those who prefer, bicycles can be parked at the foothills, and the final stretch can be completed on foot.
Charan Mandir Stop
As we get closer to Nahargarh Fort, we pause at Charan Mandir, a serene temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. From here, enjoy spectacular views of Jaipur city on one side and the lush Nahargarh Biological Park on the other. This peaceful spot offers the perfect moment to relax, soak in nature, and capture memorable photographs.
